keynote

Will Keynote be available for online viewing?

Answer

Not supported right now, but we will look into supporting it in the near future.

Answer

The user who shares the files does not have the Download All option. The uploader can share all files with other users using the share link, email or through Social Media.

The receiver sees the Download All option instead of share links. An easy way to see Download All files option is to open the share link in a different browser.

Clicked on Logo, Lost files :(

Anonymous 12 years ago updated by Ghaus Iftikhar (Founder) 12 years ago 0

Jumpshare is awesome. One issue that I had while using was that I did not copy the link of the folder to which I uploaded files. I clicked on the Jumpshare logo assuming that I would be able to add more files to the folder. Bit instead, I got to the home page and lost all of the uploaded files.

Is it possible that we even when a User clicks on the Jumpshare logo, his session is maintained and the link to the folder he was working with keeps appearing on the blue bar at the top?

I know User Accounts will solve this problem once and for all but one of the better things about Jumpshare is the ability to upload files without having to make an account first. I would recommend that you keep that feature even after introducing User accounts.

Answer

Clicking "Back" button in your browser would have solved the problem.

Allow emailing files before upload completes a la WeTransfer

Anonymous 12 years ago updated by Ghaus Iftikhar (Founder) 12 years ago 0

Hi there Team Jumpshare,

Great work on the app! I'm hoping to see one particular feature, which is the reason why I still use WeTransfer over other similar apps: I can specify the files to be uploaded, enter email addresses (mine and recipients'), hit upload and walk away. I then get an email notification when the file upload is successfully completed, my recipients get file download links in their email after the file is uploaded, and I get email notifications when my recipients download the file.

I really like that with WeTransfer I don't have to wait around for my file to upload - I can just fire it and head off to do my own thing.

Answer

You can do the same with Jumpshare. While your files are being uploaded, just hit Email, write the recipients and your own email address along with any message (which is optional), and hit Send. The email will be sent once all files have been uploaded and you will get an email notification too. It's that easy! :)

Able to share an ETA as to Pro features?

Anonymous 11 years ago updated by Ghaus Iftikhar (Founder) 11 years ago 0

Able to share an ETA as to Pro features? And what features (e.g. larger uploads, branding, etc.) will be available? Am ready to move to Jumpshare from Dropmark, but need a bit of a timeframe. Cheers, Alex.

Answer

Alex, we are happy to hear that you love Jumpshare and would like to upgrade to Pro account. We have a slew of new features in our roadmap, such as, more storage, no file size limit, share files using your own custom domain, password protect your folders for extra security and sharing sensitive files, being able to preview more file formats, and much more. There are also some top secret features we are working on which I cannot disclose at the moment.

We will be rolling out new features every week, so keep an eye on our blog, follow us on Twitter or join our Facebook page.

As for timeline, we are doing our best, but you can expect the Pro accounts to be ready by either April or May.
